When tween cutters and thirty-year old women (I’m looking at you Gina) have to blow dry their panties when somebody says your name, it must be hard when you’re an obviously closeted gay actor. It’s manageable and you can keep fooling people (Tom Cruise has Katie Holmes, Matthew Broderick has Flickr, Will Smith has Jada Pinkett Smith), but Robert Pattinson isn’t even trying. National Enquirer reports:

“I am single … almost everything that came out about my private life IS false,” cover boy Pattinson told the Italian edition of Vanity Fair mag. “I think it happens because, really, there is not much to say about what I’m doing. “While I am filming, I live practically recluse in hotel. I come out only to work, and sometimes to go out for dinner. “But, if you read the magazines, it seems that I have a frantic high life.”

Remember when you were a kid and you watched He-Man and you wanted to be him because he was all powerful and brave and cool then you got older and realized he wore a pink shirt, kept a secret identity from his parents, had a pet cat, and his best friend was a girl? Yeah, this is kinda like that.

Salma Hayek Nurses Another Woman’s Baby

Many of you responded positively to last week’s story about Salma Hayek nursing a hungry baby during her UNICEF trip to Sierra Leone, after finding that his mother could not produce milk. Having her experience filmed for ABC’s Nightline, Salma explained that — because of malnutrition — doctors in the country encourage mothers to breastfeed for two years, but this rarely occurs. The reason? Men urge their wives to cease nursing rather quickly because of a cultural taboo against sexual intercourse with breastfeeding women.

“It is the best thing you can do for your child, not only the bonding, that’s how you build the immune system, so in a country like [Sierra Leone] imagine how important it is for the mothers to do that,” Salma says. “But here, there is the belief that if you are breastfeeding you cannot have a sexual life so the husbands, of course, of these women are really encouraging them to stop and this is just a taboo.”

Her decision to assist one of these women by nursing her hungry baby boy hit home for Salma, 42, as she wondered if it was fair to daughter Valentina Paloma, 16 months. She shares,

“That was amazing. I’m in Africa, in Sierra Leone, and I was able to feed an ill baby that was very hungry. I thought about it — am I being disloyal to my child by giving her milk away? And I actually think that my baby would be very proud to be able to share her milk. When she grows up I’m going to make sure that she continues to be a generous, caring person, and I think that’s the best thing I can give her as a mother.”

What Salma did is called “cross-nursing.” Bettina Forbes, CLC, of the Best for Babes Foundation says, “cross-nursing has been critical to the survival of the human species and is more common today than people might think.” Andi Silverman, author of Mama Knows Breast: A Beginner’s Guide to Breastfeeding adds,”some moms do it, but there’s no way to know how many. And La Leche League actually discourages cross-nursing and wet nursing because the person feeding your baby could have a communicable disease.”

Los Angeles were investigating a burglary at Paris Hilton’s home that left her bedroom ransacked.

Los Angeles Police Officer Julianne Sohn said the break-in occurred around 5 a.m. Friday at a home in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles. Sohn says that detectives report that a man wearing a hooded sweat shirt and gloves broke in through the home’s front door and ransacked Hilton’s bedroom.

Police will not publicly confirm what was stolen or what the items were.

Hilton was not at home at the time. She had been photographed the previous night at several LA nightspots.

Madonna, Ritchie won’t detail divorce deal

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have issued a statement saying both are happy with the financial agreement reached in their divorce — but they aren’t telling you or anyone else about the details.

On Monday, Madonna spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg told The Associated Press in an e-mail that Madonna would pay Ritchie a settlement in the range of 50 million to 60 million pounds (about $76 million to $92 million). But the divorcing couple said Wednesday that Rosenberg’s statement contained inaccurate information about the financial settlement.

Their latest joint statement says settlement details of their divorce will remain private.

“A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week,” says a joint statement from Madonna and Ritchie. “The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement. Our primary concern, like any co-parents, is the care and well being of our children.”

The pop star and the British film director were married in a lavish ceremony in Scotland in December 2000. Their divorce is expected to be finalized in January.

Kanye’s 808′s & Heartbreak

Kanye West has a lot to be thankful for. His fourth album 808’s & Heartbreak which was released on 25th November 2008 is on pace to sell between 450-500,000 copies based on first-day estimates. That would make this Kanye’s third biggest debut of his career (following Graduation and Late Registration) and his third No. 1 album “808’s and heartbreak”. I had a listen to it even before it was released (thanks to World Wide Web).The first song of the album to hit the TV screens was the African based “Love Lockdown”. The video featured Kanye with a few African people playing their traditional drums. The second track “Heartless” is another track which proved really booming having its place among the top ten on the billboard hot charts. Kanye has been performing these two tracks live in shows on TV, one I saw was the Late Night Show with Conan ’O Brian. Two more must listen tracks from the album are “Robocop” that tells the modern version of Charles Dickens’s “Great Expectations” and “She’s a Nightmare” which is a fun song to listen to. As a whole Kanye didn’t do as much as I expected him to but as I said in my previous post, he might have won the most record sales challenge from 50cent but he cannot be compared to the superiority of 50’s music. Before I Self Destruct says 50cent

A few days ago 50cent released the latest single from his upcoming album “Before I Self Destruct” called “Get-Up”. The track has been produced by Scott Storch that makes it pretty much obvious about how amazing the rap is going to be. For me the track is a bomb. Last year Kayne West won the most records sales challenge from 50cent but this time 50cent is going to kick kanye’s ass for sure. The video of Get Up is available on Youtube and the album releases in feburary 2009 (if not delayed). I have the album cover so here check it out.

The diva herself just got some more of that ink on her body. Her left arm now has a new tattoo that shows the co-ordinates of their children’s birthplaces. I mean how cute is that . Angelina had two new tattoos – to complement her ink indicating global birth coordinates of children Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh. Braddy and Angie were last seen with the tattoo at the premiere of clint eastwoods new flick “changling”.

I play a 12-string guitar, and have since I was 12. I’m a songwriter first and foremost, and I have never written anything I didn’t mean. I am obsessed with lyrics. I love Tennessee. And talking to people. I was born on December 13th, 1989. Thirteen is my lucky number. I can tell you some REALLY weird coincidences that involve that number.. Long story short, 13 is good. I am the most competetive person I know. I never really got into sports, so I guess you could say music is my game. I love people who are nice to me, I’ve never been one to say things like “All you people think you know me, well you don’t”. I’m not that complicated. My complications come out in my songs. All you need to do to be my friend is like me. I don’t wear high heels alot because I’m afraid of falling in front of large groups of people. My middle name is Alison. I’m most comfortable in dresses, not old faded blue jeans–surprisingly. I sing country music, I am obsessed with that too. I guess you kinda have to be. I have beautiful friends. Be one. I really like it when people tell me they like my music, it’s everything I’ve got so it really means alot to me. I’m really weird sometimes, but you are too. I’ve never been the kind of girl who needs a boyfriend. I don’t go out looking for guys. But then again, I don’t write alot of love songs. Basically.. I’m single. I love pictures, I have a bunch of them hung up in my bus bunk. Because you can’t forget where you came from. I need everything to be organized. All the time. I think little kids are awesome. I’m just going to warn you now: If you start a conversation about Law and Order: SVU or CSI with me, we will be talking for at least an hour. I consider myself an expert on those two things.. only those two things. I love trucks. They are works of art. I’m a thinker and an over-analyzer. I’m 5’11. I’m not jaded.
